Sommerville 630: Momos at the Market & Bella’s Acacia Catering
Our first stop: Sommerville 630, a new hub for food, arts, culture & community. We’re starting at Momos at the Market, which serves up authentic Nepalese food including their version of the dumpling: momos!
Next, Bella’s Acacia Catering, specializing in authentic Vegan & Vegetarian Korean food. You’ve gotta try the Dumpling Fried Rice, a savoury dish featuring vegetables and Korean mandu dumplings.
Unique Food Attitudes
We’re heading next door to Unique Food Attitudes, where you’ll find all the staples of traditional Polish cuisine, and some new favourites, like the pierogi poutine.
So Inviting
So Inviting is our next stop on the Dumpling Trail. It’s one of the newer businesses on the block but it’s quickly become a local favourite thanks to a delicious assortment of Chinese dumplings & buns and the friendliest service. Not to mention free samples! You might say it’s… so inviting.
Tony’s Famous Italian
A block over is Tony’s Famous Italian, an institution in the City of London. This location is one of three in the city, and as one of London’s oldest restaurants, a trip to Tony’s is like visiting family.
Vietnam Restaurant
Our last stop on London’s Dumpling Trail is Vietnam Restaurant, located just across from the new 100 Kellogg Lane entertainment facility. Their menu includes a diversity of Vietnamese cuisine and our final dumpling dish of the day: wonton soup.
